During the 10-week intensive, we were introduced to the concept of business models based largely on the framework provided in Business Model Generation, by Alexander Osterwalder and Yves Pigneur.

The purpose was to understand how organizations create, deliver, and capture value for their business. We each created a Business Model Canvas, a visual tool for brainstorming about the value that a business brings to its customers and clients. We also watched a series of webinars to learn more about how to create a good canvas.
